You may register on-site between 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. the day of the tournament (Sunday, Feb. 20). The first round will start at 2:15 p.m.

Two USCF-rated Sections (USCF membership required):

Non-rated Section:

K-12 Reserve*

*NOTE: Reserve section is not rated; therefore, USCF membership is not required.

Each section must have at least 5 players or section will be combined. NO ELIMINATION . . . everyone will play all four rounds!

ON-SITE REGISTRATION &
ROUND TIMES


On-site registration will be held on Sunday (Feb. 20) from 12:30 noon - 1:15 p.m. First round will begin at promptly at 1:30 p.m.

PRIZES

Trophies awarded to the top 3 overall in each section.
Ribbons to all.

BYES (1/2-point)

TIEBREAKS

USCF-recommended computer tiebreaks will decide trophy placements for all
winners in scholastic sections.

has been officially opened and in progress!!

We will meet again this Friday the 11th!

Two camps in one week in one city? Why would anyone do that except to be hurtful. That is selfish. There is no comparison! People have a choice, yes, but compare the instructors:

GM Alex Stripunsky, GM Robert Hess, IM Raja Punjwani, Alisa Melekhina, and Andre Duvall (great with the beginners) who are all active players versus GM John Fedorowicz, IM Daniel Ludwig, IM Jonathan Schroer, and FM Mike Klein who rarely play anymore. Why would people choose instructors who don't play that much? It looks like a no-brainer to me. Sign up with Mid-South Chess now and be a part of the action. If you already signed up with the "other" camp, do yourself a favor and get your money back immediately!
