Winter Holiday Chess Camp

Monday thru Friday
December 26 - 30, 2011

for Chess Players of all Ages and Levels!





Sessions:

Morning: (9am - 12 noon)
Afternoon: (1pm - 4pm
All Day: 9am - 4pm

Typical Daily
Schedule:

9:00 - 9:50am - Instruction
9:50 - 10:10am - Snack Break
10:10-11:00am - Instruction
11:00-12 noon - Fun Activity!
12:00 - 1pm - Lunch/Games

1:50 - 2:00pm - Break
2:00 - 2:50pm - Instruction
2:50 - 3:00pm - Snack Break
3:00 - 4:00pm - Tournament
& Game Analysis

Campers will become more familiar with tactics, strategy, openings, middlegame, endgame, etc.

Each day campers will receive their own folder, chess problems, and puzzles to work on during the camp along with concepts explained during the week. At the end of the camp, each camper will be given his or her folder to take home.

Trophies will be awarded to all participating campers.

Lunch, as well as snacks, will be available for purchase on site.

Comments posted previously by me were made in haste and should not have been posted. However, I still want to congratulate all scholastic finalists in the recent Regional Individual Scholastics tournament. Good luck to everyone in the state finals!

Well now, I guess the powers that think they be (in W.TN), turned enough screws and pulled enough strings, that it makes them feel as if they are in full control.

It's such a shame when "FREE SPEECH" and the First Admendment get walked all over! IMO!
